When you reach Level 5 you'll start studying your skills, Skills are taught at the Iron Gate Guild -- thewarehouse, as they call it-by the east gate, or the Black Anvil Guild - it looks like a blacksmith's shop if you look east from the square at the north gate, Now, this is important you'll need SP to gain your skills, SP is short for skill points, and they're earned along with experience whenever you defeat a monster, SP are deducted whenever you learn a new skill,You can check yourSP by clicking the Character Status button, then on the Status tab in the window, Of course, the number of SP you need will vary, depending on the skill you're after.
I want to know more about skills. ]]>
Unless your friends are rich and generous, I suppose you're still using the weapons and armor you were given by the guilds?
For now, whatever you have will do, After defeating monsters, you'll often find armor they left behind,Sometimes weapons too,if you're lucky you may get your hands on cloth shoes, apprentice's shoes or cloth caps as hunting spoils.
Your guild will have issued you two weapons to start with a daggerand a guild member's club, I hope you've figured out the difference. Ha! The dagger is swift, and has a good chance to do critical damage, while a club (blunt) is much slower, but is more likely to score a hit. Remember, the weapons you.
Come back when you reach Level 6, and I'll tell you more about weapons.

Right now, you should leave the village by south gate and hunt longtail keltirs, gremlin scavengers or wolves, Wolves are the most dangerous, so take care, If there are too many hunters on that side of the village, look to the eastside of the bank after you exit the village from the north gate.
Remember, when you target a monster, it's name will appear at the top-center of the screen. The color of the name shows how difficult it is. For now, stick to creatures with white or sky-blue names, The ones in red and yellow are much stronger than you, so steer clear.
And be ye warned, you're not ready to go messing with goblins yet, They're agood deal smarter and stronger than they seem. Most importantly, they understand teamwork -- if one goblin is in trouble, others will come to its aid. So even if you're strong enough to take a goblin one-on-one, you're nowhere near ready to deal with two or three, Watch yourself now.

Think about the long term, and that will show you the beginning, The Kingdom of Aden is in chaos, because of the war with Elmore to the north and Gracia across the sea, But hark we now, there are always opportunities in times of chaos, We Dwarves are merchants, and that means we're opportunists by nature, If you want to become rich and leave your mark on the world, then need my advice.
For now, your task is to master the arms and armor you've been given, Whether you survive to become a Bounty Hunter, collecting scales from dragons, or take the path of a Warsmith, with massive siege engines at your command, it all starts with the basics I can tell you here and now.
So practice your hunting skills on longtail keltirs, or gremlin scavengers around the village. When you find items left behind by your prey, try equipping the weapons and armor to see if they're better than what your've already got. As for the rest, if you have no use for it you can always sell it at the shops for pocket money.

If you use your head while hunting, you should have about 60 SP by the time you reach Level 5. The elders at the Iron Gate Guild (or the warehouse, as they call it) or the Black Anvil Guild (that would be the blacksmith) can tell you the skills in which you can train.
Skills are divided into active skills and passive skills, Active skills have to be deliberately used by you, while passive skills increase your basic abilities from the moment you learn them. We Dwarves like creating things more than destroying them, so we don't teach active skills about destroying. Study the master's list, and think about what you'll want to learn in the future as well. If you work hard to earn enough SP, you'll pick up a skill around Level 7. The Create Item skill, which lets you... well, it lets you create items, OK? Now that's a good Dwarven skill. Think about getting that one.
